Floods Kemnay Drop in Event

11 June from 11.30 am to 3.00 pm

at the Legion Club, Main Street, Inverurie

The Communities of Inverurie, Kintore, Kemnay and Port Elphinstone are holding a community resilience drop-in event following the recent flooding in their villages.

On behalf of the organisers we would like to invite you or a suitable delegate to publicise this community open-day which is to be help on Saturday 11 June from 1130 hrs to 1500 hrs at the Legion Club, Main Street, Inverurie.

Representatives from SEPA, Aberdeenshire Council, SSE and others from the community will be in attendance – and representing their respective organisations and the service they are able to provide.

Topics and support will cover –

SSE – Community engagement, power outages etc

SEPA – Flood warnings, flood risk, community support

Aberdeenshire Council – PLP protection products and property resilience

SFF – Community Resilience Groups, Home resilience plans, Flood groups

Aberdeenshire Council – Help and Advice Service etc

Other Community Organisations – as advised
